| Welcome to Vrijehof Clivia WELCOME TO VRIJEHOF CLIVIA Vrijehof offers the following services: • Sales of seed from selected plants for both the advanced collector and the person starting a new interest in clivia. • Sales of plants and seedlings of selected Clivia. • Sales of bulk volume of seed to commercial nurseries and Landscape Contractors. • Research and procurement of specific seed and plants to customer’s needs. We will also help reputable Clivia enthusiasts through the use of our e-commerce system to promote and sell their seed and plants. At Vrijehof It is our goal to produce and sell quality clivia for both the discerning collector and leisure gardener that enjoys to be spoiled by the beauty of clivia. Our plants have been bred both for quality and improvement of various important characteristics. Pollination is done by hand and employing breeding strategies to improve through pollinating only with selected pollen on pre-selected parent-plants. We apply a rigorous approch in pre-selecting parent plants for further breeding. Each plant is pollinated by hand only with selected pollen from the breeding plantation. Over time we were furtunate to obtain a large part of the Clivia collection of Nick Primich, as well as high quality plants from other breeders. We use these plants as a baseline to improve and produce new quality hybrids. At Vrijehof we also collaborate with other clivia enthusiasts and cliva nursuries to be able to bring you exciting offers.
